Microphone Mentors (Summer 2024): Enrollment Form

First, read the program requirements & other expectations.

Program Requirements:

1) To enroll you must be at least 12 years old, and no older than 18.

2) A parent must provide written permission.

3) A photo/video release form will also need to be signed by a parent (for anyone under 18).

*Release forms & other relevant info will be provided after your registration form has been submitted.

More Info & Other Expectations:

1) No previous public speaking experience is required but you must be willing to participate in group discussions, exercises & activities.

2) Mentees are expected to be courteous to and respectful of others. 

3) This mentorship program consist of 4 (2-hour) workshop sessions that will take place once a week, on Saturdays. Program dates are: July 13th, 20th, 27th, and August 3rd. The workshops are scheduled 2pm-4pm, and are located at the Cone Park Branch Library (2801 E University Ave, Gainesville, FL 32615). The program will then conclude with a culminating event on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at the Headquarters Branch Library (401 E University Ave, Gainesville, FL 32601) in the meeting room on the 4th floor. Participants of the program should be able to attend all 4 workshops, as well as the culminating event on August 10th.
